The agreement
By browsing this shop or placing an order with Sugar Imprint Co. you agree to these terms. They are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and nothing in them limits the consumer guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our products
- Cutters, embossers and stencils are 3D printed in food-safe PLA in our Melbourne studio.
- Hand wash in cool water and dry straight away. Not dishwasher, microwave, oven or hot-liquid safe.
- Colour and finish can vary slightly between batches — that is the nature of a made-to-order print.
- A cutter is a kitchen tool for pressing dough, fondant and icing. Keep it away from direct heat and small children.
Orders & production
Every order is printed after you place it. We send a confirmation email when your order is received, then another when it is dispatched.
We may cancel and fully refund an order if a design cannot be reproduced at your chosen size, or if the artwork supplied is unsuitable. If we have to cancel, you will hear from us before any printing begins.
Your designs & artwork
When you upload artwork you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it. Please do not send us trademarked characters, logos or other copyrighted material you do not have rights to — we may decline such an order and refund it in full.
You grant us a licence to use your file only to produce your order. You keep ownership of your artwork.
If you use our Design Studio text and shape tools, the resulting design is yours to use personally, including for baking and gifting.
Design previews & sizing
The live preview and the finished model are a visual guide. Choose your size carefully — a 60mm cutter and a 90mm cutter of the same design will look noticeably different in person, and fine details shrink with the size.
If a detail will not print cleanly at the size you have chosen, we will email you to suggest an alternative before production starts.
Pricing & payment
All prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) and confirmed on the checkout page. Payment is taken securely by Stripe at the time of ordering. We do not store your card details.
Shipping & delivery
We ship Australia-wide at a flat rate of $9.95 per order, and shipping is free on orders of $60 or more. Production takes 2 to 4 business days, with delivery estimated at 2 to 6 business days after dispatch.
Please double-check your delivery address at checkout. Once an order is dispatched it is on its way, and risk passes to you on delivery. Full details are on our returns page.
Returns & refunds
Made-to-order and personalised items cannot be returned for change of mind, but faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied items are always covered. Contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
Intellectual property
Our designs, photography, brand and website content belong to Sugar Imprint Co. Buying a cutter gives you the cutter itself for personal use — it does not give you the right to resell the design, the cutter, or our 3D model files.
Commercial bakers are very welcome: you may use our cutters to make and sell your own baked goods. If you would like to stock our designs, get in touch about wholesale.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits the consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time as the studio grows — the version published on this page applies to your order. Questions about anything here? Email sugarimprint@hotmail.com and we will walk you through it.
